ChernihivPhotoFest is an annual international photography festival founded in 2010.
Mission of ChernihivPhotoFest is support and development of photography as a form of visual art.
The main goals of the Festival are organization of creative environment for photographers; creating educational programs for young artists; accustoming public audience to the visual culture.
The festival exhibits classical photography: authors who went down in history of international and Ukranian photography as well as modern authors using photography methods for creation work of art.
The festival unites masters of manual printing processes both classical and alternative thereby favouring preservation of historical methods of photography creation.
The festival supports young photography, exhibits young authors and holds a number of educational events during the festival itself as well as between the festivals.
