I am an Eye. Continually myriads of worlds rush past me with unearthly speed in different planes. I absorb them, they nourish me with a life-giving energy making me the centre of the Universe. Sometimes their motion becomes slower and I-am-the-Eye begin fixing a great number of different objects – the Sun and the Moon, the Sky, the Earth and faces, and faces, and faces which in their capricious combinations create tiny harmonic symphonies composed of shapes, colours and lines. The purpose for which I take pictures is to make these visual symphonies remain. It is my mission. I was assigned to it myself and I do my best to perform it. I-am-the-Eye do not tell stories about the things which surround me, I talk only about the things which I’ve seen, met and felt and how all this can be combined with those models of harmony which are inside me. I collect images – puzzles of the world, and all the episodes I’ve kept compose the entire picture of my life.

When I-am-the-Eye disappear and my microcosm is dissolved in eternity, something will change in the Universe, and though I will no longer exist, there will still remain reminiscences of the people who loved me and my collection of photographs –episodes. The episodes of my life.
