“ChernihivPhotoFest-2011” will be held in Chernihiv from the 23th of September till the 9th of October.
It will be held the second time though its scale has been increased twice as compared with the last year.
Fifteen exhibition projects from USA, Great Britain, Sweden, Lithuania, Russia, Belorussia and Ukraine are united with the common theme “School”.
As a general idea “School” covers many important aspects of human life. From the personal school experience to the processes of social and state development. From the survival to self-perfection.
Exhibitions of the Festival represent three main theme parts: School – the main project, School of survival, School of mastery and a separate part “Alternative look”.
Participants of the Festival are foreign and Ukrainian photographers: Lewis Carroll (Great Britain), Jens Olof Lasthein and Chris Maluszynski (Sweden), Loli Kantor (USA), Vitas Luckus (Lithuania), Irina Popova (Russia), Aleksander Glyadyelov (Ukraine) and others.
During two and a half weeks the audience will be able to visit shows located on eight different exhibition spaces of the city.
The Festival program will include Portfolio Review, workshops, practical training sessions, lectures, film shows, books presentations and other events.
